China Funding Row: Journalists Linked to NewsClick Raided in Delhi-NCR Over Alleged Chinese Links
The Delhi Police Special Cell conducted raids at the residences of journalists and employees associated with NewsClick, following allegations of Chinese links. Over 30 locations in Delhi, Noida, and Ghaziabad were searched, and a case was registered under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. The Enforcement Directorate had previously filed a case against NewsClick for receiving foreign funding in violation of the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act, with allegations of funds being used for anti-national activities.
