US blacklists flight schools globally for training Chinese pilots.
The US Department of Commerce’s Bureau of Industry and Security has blacklisted 43 entities, including the Test Flying Academy of South Africa, for allegedly training Chinese Air Force pilots. The companies have also been accused of acquiring US-origin items in support of China’s military modernisation, including hypersonic weapons development and hypersonic flight modelling. China has criticised the US for blacklisting companies and asked it to stop abusing export control measures.
