Later, officers responded to a shooting and found an adult male with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, who turned out to be one of the hit-and-run suspects. Orlando police officer Alexander Shaouni has been charged with speeding, reckless driving, fleeing a law enforcement officer, and resisting arrest after driving 80 mph in a 45 mph zone without emergency lights or sirens activated and fleeing a Seminole County Sheriff's deputy who attempted to pull him over. Shaouni was also relieved of duty pending investigations by the Seminole County Sheriff's Office and the Orlando Police Department's Internal Affairs.
