Jude Law's Extreme Method Acting Techniques for Playing King Henry VIII in Firebrand
Jude Law wore a specially made perfume that smelled like a blend of "blood, fecal matter, and sweat" to get into character as King Henry VIII in the movie Firebrand. Law initially used the perfume subtly but later sprayed it everywhere. Director Karim Aïnouz said Law's stench was "just horrible" on set. Law plays King Henry VIII in the movie, which documents the king's final days after he was severely injured in a jousting accident that led to his deteriorating leg.
