The U.S. Department of the Treasury has announced its estimates for privately-held net marketable borrowing for the first and second quarters of 2024, with expectations to borrow $760 billion and $202 billion respectively. These estimates have been adjusted due to projections of higher net fiscal flows and cash balances. Additional financing details will be released on January 31, 2024.
