Gen Z is actively participating in the stock market more than any other generation, driven by a fear of missing out (FOMO). They are responding to economic factors like inflation and rising interest rates and using diverse financial resources to learn as they go. Gen Z investors are buying more stocks than any other generation and expect to invest even more this year. Elizabeth Holmes Claims Inability to Pay $250 Monthly Restitution to Theranos Victims

Elizabeth Holmes, the disgraced biotech executive and fraudster, claims she cannot afford to pay the $250 monthly installments towards the $452 million restitution she owes to her victims. Her lawyers argue that she has "limited financial resources." Holmes' estimated net worth was once valued at around $4.5 billion, but it dropped to zero once it turned out she was a fraud. Prosecutors are now asking US district judge Edward Davila to correct the paperwork, and if he does, Holmes would be required to start making monthly payments of either $250 or ten percent of her salary to her victims upon her release from prison roughly 11 years from now.

Elizabeth Holmes Claims Inability to Pay $250 Monthly to Victims Despite $4.5 Billion Net Worth.

Elizabeth Holmes' lawyers are pushing back on the government's proposal for her to pay $250 a month to victims of her fraud, claiming she won't be able to afford the payments. Holmes was convicted of defrauding investors in Theranos and ordered to repay $452 million to victims, including Rupert Murdoch and Larry Ellison. The Justice Department proposed that Holmes pay $250 a month, or at least 10% of her income, once she's released from prison. However, Holmes' lawyers cited her "limited financial resources" and noted that she has "no assets" and no hope of restarting her career after the Theranos scandal.
