French Warship Provides Critical Medical Care to Injured Gazans off Egyptian Coast
A French warship, the Dixmude, serving as a field hospital off the coast of Egypt has treated around 1,000 injured individuals from Gaza, providing critical medical care as the enclave's health infrastructure struggles to cope with the aftermath of conflict. The vessel, equipped with medical facilities and staff, has hospitalized nearly 120 people and conducted outpatient consultations for hundreds more. With Gaza's hospitals overwhelmed and targeted, the ship has become a vital lifeline for those in need of urgent medical attention, while similar aid efforts have been deployed by other countries, including Italy.
