Trillion-Frames-Per-Second Camera Captures Speed of Light
MIT has developed a camera that can capture a trillion frames per second, allowing scientists to photograph the movement of light. The camera can slow down an event that occurs in a nanosecond to twenty seconds, providing unprecedented insight into the behavior of light. The camera takes millions of scans to recreate each image, a process known as femto-photography.
