"SW Houston Standoff Ends in Arrest of Felony Warrant Suspect"

Joseph Catarineau, wanted for five felony warrants, barricaded himself in a southwest Houston home before being arrested by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office's Violent Persons Task Force and SWAT team. The warrants included charges for assaulting a judge, assaulting a police officer, assaulting a public servant, and fraud and finance charges. Catarineau had previously attacked a bailiff, judge, and prosecutor in December and failed to appear for a court hearing on Feb. 9, leading to the issuance of the arrest warrants.

"Graphic footage reveals fatal officer-involved shooting at grocery store"

Albuquerque police released a video of a deadly officer-involved shooting at a grocery store, where a suspect with multiple felony warrants opened fire on officers. The shootout occurred in the middle of the store, endangering shoppers and workers. The suspect fired 13 shots at officers, who returned 45 shots, resulting in the suspect's death. Miraculously, no one else was injured in the incident. This marks the seventh time this year that APD officers have fired at suspects.

US Marshals fatally shoot woman after high-speed chase in Oklahoma City.

A woman with two felony warrants for stalking and malicious injury to property was shot and killed by a US Marshal after a police pursuit in Oklahoma City. The woman had made social media threats against law enforcement leading up to the chase. She fled when police tried to pull her over and was rammed by a US Marshal, after which she produced a gun and was shot. The woman was identified as Shari Vincent, 44.

Police refute claim that missing 6-year-old was sold at Texas supermarket

The search for missing 6-year-old Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez has turned into a death investigation, with police searching for his body. His mother, Cindy Rodriguez-Singh, is believed to have used him to receive government benefits and fled to India with her new husband and six other children once they began asking questions about Noel's whereabouts. Felony warrants have been issued for the couple's arrest. Witnesses reported that Noel was unhealthy and malnourished, and his mother referred to him as "evil" and "possessed." A candlelight vigil will be held for Noel.
