
IRGC General: Iran's First Hypersonic Missile Could Reach 2,000km Range
Iran's first hypersonic missile, Fattah, may have its range increased to 2,000 kilometers from its current range of 1,400 kilometers, according to Brigadier General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh, the commander of the IRGC’s Aerospace Division. The missile can travel at a speed of up to Mach 15 and can penetrate all air defense systems. Iranian officials have emphasized that the country's military capabilities, including its missile power, are solely for defense purposes.
