Tear gas reportedly released under Minneapolis family’s car during ICE encounter
A Minneapolis couple says ICE released a tear gas canister under their car as they drove home with six children, causing the airbags to deploy and smoke to fill the vehicle. Bystanders helped evacuate the kids and one infant required CPR; the family says the incident traumatized the children and a fundraiser has been launched to cover medical bills and a replacement vehicle. DHS has not publicly commented on the incident.
