Arkansas Dad Arrested for Piercing Teen Son's Ear in Viral Video

A father from Tontitown, Arkansas was arrested for piercing his teenage son's ear without a license and endangering the welfare of a minor. The teenage boy arrived at school with his left ear pierced and claimed that his father forcibly pierced his ear while intoxicated. The father was arrested after initially refusing to comply with officers and was released on a $1,500 bond. Violating Arkansas law regarding body art on minors is a Class D felony.

Child found locked in cage, parents charged in Philadelphia home.

Parents of a 6-year-old boy found locked in a dog cage in their Northeast Philadelphia home are facing criminal charges of endangering the welfare of a child and recklessly endangering a person. The boy's mother would often lock him inside the cage when she left the home. Two girls, ages 3 and 5, were also found wandering around outside the home. In total, five children were living in the home. The children were taken to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children for an evaluation.
