Tesla CEO Elon Musk announced plans to bring production of the electric semi truck, Tesla Semi, to Gigafactory Berlin, but emphasized the importance of starting volume production in the US first. A lithium-ion cell battery caught fire in an electric semi-truck located inside a facility in Tempe, Arizona. Fire officials were able to contain the fire and remove the truck from the building without any reported injuries.
