Lin Wood, Pro-Trump Lawyer, Becomes Key Witness in Georgia Election Prosecution
Attorney Lin Wood, a vocal supporter of former President Donald Trump, has been revealed as a witness for the Atlanta district attorney in her prosecution of Trump and his allies over their efforts to reverse his 2020 election loss in Georgia. The court filing by Fulton County D.A. Fani Willis argues that some defense lawyers in the case have conflicts of interest. Wood, who had previously testified to a Georgia grand jury investigating Trump, was not indicted in the election interference case. He had worked to challenge the election results and promoted false conspiracies.
