Sonia Gandhi Unveils Six Guarantees for Telangana Elections
Sonia Gandhi, former party chief of the Congress, has announced six guarantees for various sections of society if the party comes to power in Telangana. The guarantees include provisions for women, farmers, youth, statehood activists, the elderly population, and the homeless. These promises aim to address issues such as subsidised gas, free travel, financial assistance, free electricity, housing, education, and healthcare. The Congress hopes to replicate its success in Karnataka earlier this year and secure victory in the upcoming Telangana polls.
