Multiple Officials Resign in Protest of Biden's Stance on Israel-Gaza Conflict
Tariq Habash, a senior official in the US Education Department, resigned in protest of President Joe Biden's approach to the Israel-Gaza conflict, criticizing the administration for ignoring "atrocities committed against innocent Palestinian lives." Additionally, 17 anonymous staffers from Biden's re-election campaign expressed concern that the president's handling of the situation could lead to a loss of voters, urging him to call for a ceasefire in Gaza. The State Department has refuted claims of genocide in Gaza, which have also been denied by Israel.
