Multiple Power Outages Impact Thousands in Tucson Area

More than 12,000 people are without power in Tucson, with the majority of outages occurring on the east side and in the Foothills, following a powerful storm that hit the area. The affected areas range from Fort Lowell and Swan North to East Skyline Drive in the Foothills, concentrated between Kolb and Camino Seco, 22nd to the south, and Speedway to the north. Smaller outages have also been reported east of Pantano and south of Golf Links, as well as at Speedway and Craycroft.

"Double Shooting Sends Two Men to Hospital on East Side, Police Report"

Two men were shot on the East Side of San Antonio, with one sustaining injuries to the back and neck and the other to the arm. They were taken to Brooke Army Medical Center, one in critical condition. The men, in their late teens, had been dropped off at the location after being shot elsewhere. The police are currently investigating the incident and have no suspect information or motive.

Man Fatally Shot on Indianapolis' East Side, IMPD Investigates

A man was found dead with gunshot wounds inside a residence on North Spencer Avenue near the intersection of Emerson Avenue and East 21st Street on the city's east side. The police are investigating the incident and have not released any information about the suspect or motive. IMPD has asked people to avoid the area while they investigate and have drones assisting in their search for evidence and a suspect. Buffalo Mass Shooting: One Year Later, Calls for Reform and Reflection.

Mark Talley, son of Geraldine Talley and Executive Director of Agents for Advocacy, said he has not seen any major changes on the East Side in the year since the racist mass shooting at the Tops supermarket on Jefferson Avenue. Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown responded to the lack of change on the East Side cited by Talley, saying that a lot of resources have been put in place and the community will see "tremendous change" in the coming years. Talley spoke to the work his organization has been doing in the community and what they have planned coming up.
