Mysterious Bird Deaths Continue at Duck Creek Quarry
Animal control in Howard, Wisconsin, has discovered 26 dead birds at Duck Creek Quarry as of December 15. The cause of the deaths is still unknown, and lab results are pending. In the meantime, quarry trails will remain closed. Animal control has been actively monitoring the area for dead geese, removing them when found, and using coyote decoys to deter geese flocks. The public is urged to report any dead waterfowl or birds of prey to animal control.
