Manhunt expands to Dominican Republic for fugitive husband in Bronx fentanyl day care case
A third person has been arrested in connection with the Bronx day care drug operation that resulted in the death of a 1-year-old boy. Renny Antonio Parra Paredes was charged with conspiracy to distribute narcotics and appeared in federal court. The arrests come after the death of the child and hospitalization of three other children who were exposed to fentanyl at the day care. Police found drugs in the play area and a trap floor, along with drug-making materials. The search continues for the owner's husband, who was seen fleeing the day care with trash bags.
