The 2025 Kia Carnival minivan receives major styling updates and a new turbocharged hybrid powertrain, featuring a 1.6-liter inline-4 engine paired with a 72-HP electric motor. The interior boasts a 12-inch central touchscreen, next-generation infotainment system, and updated driver-assist features, while maintaining the option for the VIP Lounge Seat package. With improved design and hybrid option, Kia aims to broaden the appeal of the underappreciated Carnival in the U.S. market.
Tesla is recalling nearly all 2 million of its vehicles on US roads to limit the use of its Autopilot feature, following a two-year probe by US safety regulators into crashes involving the feature. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) found that Autopilot can give drivers a false sense of security and be easily misused in certain dangerous situations. The over-the-air software update will provide more warnings to drivers when they are not paying attention to the road while Autopilot is engaged. Tesla's driver-assist features have faced scrutiny in the past, and this recall could impact the company's efforts to market its cars and expensive self-driving features.
