Ford and Vaughn Gittin Jr. have collaborated to create the 2026 Mustang RTR, a drift-focused, accessible performance car featuring a turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine, upgraded handling components, and distinctive styling, aimed at younger buyers with an estimated price range of $35,000 to $40,000.
Professional drifter "Mad Mike" Whiddett has unveiled the "MADAZ 787D," a drift car built around the world's first 5-rotor Wankel rotary engine. Developed in partnership with Kiwi Wankel specialists Pulse Performance Race Engineering, the engine features a fifth rotor and a total displacement of 3,270 cc. While power figures have not been released, the car is designed to be loud and rule-breaking, with a naturally aspirated engine.
