Sega also explored the option of releasing a mini console with PC conversions of Dreamcast titles, but the community's reception was not favorable. Given the underwhelming sales of the original Dreamcast and the waning popularity of mini consoles, Sega opted not to pursue the release of a Dreamcast Mini.
