Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince is an upcoming RPG game for the Nintendo Switch, featuring a standalone story that follows the protagonist Psaro on his quest for revenge against his father. Psaro becomes a monster wrangler and befriends various monsters to fight alongside him. The game takes place in the underworld domain of Nadiria, divided into different realms, and the landscape and monsters change with the seasons. With over 500 types of monsters and a revamped synthesis system, players can create new monster combinations. The game also offers downloadable content, including additional dungeons and outfits for the main character. Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince is set to release on December 1.
Nintendo will delist PAC-MAN 99 on October 8, but users who purchased downloadable content can continue to play in offline mode. The delisting will occur in stages, with paid custom themes being discontinued on August 8, followed by the PAC-MAN 99 Deluxe Pack and Mode Unlock on September 8, and finally, the online services for the main game on October 8. Purchased content can still be re-downloaded even after the discontinuation of sales.
INDIE Live Expo 2023, a gaming event, will showcase over 200 indie games on May 20 and 21. Day 1 will feature new and unrevealed titles, as well as downloadable content and updates for known indie games. Day 2, "The Aftershow," will have influencers showcasing the latest indie games. The event will also include "INDIE Waves" and "INDIE Studios Around the World" segments.
