Comcast to Spin Off Cable Networks into New Company
Comcast is planning to spin off several NBCUniversal cable channels, including MSNBC, CNBC, and USA, into a new company led by Mark Lazarus. Meanwhile, Donna Langley will consolidate power as chairman of NBCUniversal Entertainment and Studios, overseeing NBC, Peacock, and Bravo, which remain with NBCU. This restructuring aims to streamline operations and adapt to the changing media landscape, with the spinoff expected to complete by late 2025.
