Guinea's Military Junta Dissolves Government and Pursues International Lobbying Campaign
Guinea's military junta, led by transitional President Mamady Doumbouya, has dissolved the government through a presidential decree, instructing ministers to surrender their passports, freeze their bank accounts, and hand over official vehicles. The junta has also sealed the country's borders and appointed lower-level officials to temporarily manage state ministries until a new government is appointed.
