Apple is planning a major visual overhaul for iOS 26, inspired by visionOS, featuring translucent interfaces, floating menus, rounded and glassy UI elements, subtle lighting effects, and a simplified design to create a more immersive and cohesive user experience across its platforms, to be unveiled at WWDC 2025.
Nothing has announced that the Phone 2 will be launching in the US in summer 2023. The company has teased some design elements through a short animation, potentially hinting at the return of lights. The new phone will be a more "premium" device powered by a Snapdragon 8 series processor, although an accidental post by Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon suggests it may use last year's Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset.
