Two Bee Gees Drummers Pass Away Within Days
Two former drummers of the Bee Gees, Dennis Bryon and Colin "Smiley" Petersen, have passed away within days of each other. Bryon, who joined the band in 1973 and played during their disco era, died at 76, while Petersen, the band's first professional drummer from 1967, died at 78 following a fall. The Bee Gees, formed by the Gibb brothers, were known for their transition from ballads to disco, selling 220 million records worldwide.
