Mother of child who shot teacher pleads guilty to gun crimes.
Deja Taylor, the mother of a 6-year-old boy who shot his teacher in Virginia, has pleaded guilty to federal gun charges. Taylor was charged with illegally using drugs while owning a firearm and making a false statement about using marijuana when she purchased the gun. She could face up to 25 years in prison on the federal charges, but a negotiated plea agreement calls for a sentence of 18 to 24 months in prison. Taylor's son shot first-grade teacher Abby Zwerner in January, and Taylor was also charged in state court in connection with the shooting.
