David Taylor has won the GOP nomination in Ohio's 2nd Congressional District race and will face Democrat Samantha Meadows in the November election. The district, which covers much of southern Ohio, became open after GOP U.S. Rep. Brad Wenstrup retired last year. Taylor, a native of Clermont and Brown counties, emphasized his private sector and public service experience as an assistant county prosecutor as differentiators in the race. He has also expressed support for Donald Trump.
