Danny Green renews contract with the Philadelphia 76ers

Free agent guard Danny Green has agreed to a one-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, returning to the team where he previously played for two seasons. Green's relationships with Joel Embiid and new coach Nick Nurse played a role in the Sixers' decision to bring him back. The three-time NBA champion suffered a left ACL and LCL injury in the 2022 playoffs and was subsequently traded to Memphis. Green is known for his three-point shooting and has the third-most corner 3-pointers since entering the league in 2009-10.
