The Los Angeles County Fire Department has achieved 90% containment on the Danny Fire, which burned close to 1,300 acres in the Antelope Valley on Sunday. Wind gusts of up to 20 miles per hour made it difficult for crews to combat the flames, but a "moistening trend" is expected through Wednesday. An area barn was destroyed, and around 20 homes were evacuated as a precaution, but residents have since been able to return to their homes. Crews are expected to remain on the scene throughout the night, and Avenue D will remain closed while burned power poles are replaced.
