The toys currently require a Wi-Fi connection and come with an app that provides parents with written transcripts of conversations. The AI toys are available for preorder for $99 each and are expected to ship in early 2024.

"Samsung and Apple Compete in the Smart Ring Market"

Samsung has secured a new trademark for a device categorized under "Class 9," which includes smart rings and related software. The trademark application filed on August 22 includes the name "Samsung Curio," suggesting it might be the official name for Samsung's smart ring. However, it is uncertain whether the smart ring will be called Curio or something else entirely, as Samsung has a history of trademarking names that don't always become attached to real products. The release date for the smart ring remains unknown, but Samsung is also working on an XR headset, expected to compete with the Apple Vision Pro next year.
