The app presents classical libraries intelligently, spanning multiple eras and styles, including modern works and film scores. However, the app is only available on iPhone for now, with an Android version in the works, and doesn't work on iPad or Mac yet. The interface needed to sort through classical music is different from how streaming apps handle other genres, hence the need for a separate app. Apple acquired Primephonic in 2021 to solve the classical streaming problem with better data and organization.
