Boeing's Starliner Crewed Launch Set for May 6
NASA and Boeing are targeting "no earlier than Monday, May 6" for the first crewed flight of the CST-100 Starliner spacecraft, with astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore heading to the International Space Station for about 10 days. The launch date has been influenced by ISS operations, with Boeing completing final certification for flight. This mission will help NASA determine if the spacecraft is ready for regular crew rotation missions to the space station, as part of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program alongside SpaceX’s system.
