Fortnite Creative 2.0 and UEFN: The Future of Gaming?

Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN), also known as Creative 2.0, is now available and offers players a new programming language called Verse, which allows them to design, develop, and publish their own custom experiences directly into Fortnite Creative mode. Alongside UEFN, Epic has announced Creator Economy 2.0, which is a remodeling of how creators within the Fortnite ecosystem will earn money for their work. Additionally, Epic has built a "unified 3D marketplace" called Fab Marketplace, which combines several of Epic's most popular game dev toolsets.

Unreal Engine 5.2 and Future Xbox Games: State of Unreal 2023 Recap.

Epic Games unveiled the latest updates for Unreal Engine at the State of Unreal event, including the Unreal Editor for Fortnite, which allows players to develop their own games inside the popular Battle Royale. The company also showcased how Ninja Theory is using MetaHuman Animator to provide realistic facial animations on its characters in Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2. Unreal Engine 5.2 will introduce the Procedural Content Generation Framework (PCG) and Substrate, offering more control over the look and feel of objects used in real-time applications.
