Unreal Engine 5.2 and Future Xbox Games: State of Unreal 2023 Recap.

Epic Games unveiled the latest updates for Unreal Engine at the State of Unreal event, including the Unreal Editor for Fortnite, which allows players to develop their own games inside the popular Battle Royale. The company also showcased how Ninja Theory is using MetaHuman Animator to provide realistic facial animations on its characters in Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2. Unreal Engine 5.2 will introduce the Procedural Content Generation Framework (PCG) and Substrate, offering more control over the look and feel of objects used in real-time applications. Epic also announced the consolidation of its digital asset stores into one huge marketplace called Fab and the launch of Creator Economy 2.0, which will allow Fortnite Island creators to receive more money based on engagement.
