
Fatal Crane Collapse on Fort Lauderdale Bridge Causes One Death and Multiple Injuries
One person was killed and two others were injured when part of a crane fell onto the Southeast Third Avenue bridge over the New River in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The incident occurred during rush hour as construction crews were adjusting the crane's height, causing it to snap off and crash onto the bridge. A construction worker died during the incident, and two people on the bridge were injured when parts of the crane hit their car. The Florida Department of Transportation and Fort Lauderdale police are investigating the incident.
