Fox News has sent a cease-and-desist letter to Tucker Carlson, ordering him to stop releasing shows on Twitter. Carlson's lawyer has responded by saying that he will not be silenced and that Fox News is ignoring the interests of its viewers and shareholder obligations. Carlson remains under contract at Fox until the end of 2024 and continues to draw his rumoured $25m annual salary. Carlson's first two "Tucker on Twitter" videos attracted a combined 169 million views.
