"Zoom App Brings Couch-Friendly Video Calls to Apple TV 4K"

Zoom has released an app for Apple TV 4K that allows users to hold conference calls on their television and iPhone or iPad via Apple's Continuity Camera feature. The app supports HD video and audio, calendar integration, meeting invites, in-meeting chat, and breakout rooms. Users can log into their Zoom account on the Apple TV app using their credentials or by visiting a pairing URL on their iPhone. The app requires a second-generation Apple TV 4K or later and an iPhone or iPad updated to iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 for camera and microphone functionality.

Apple TV 4K will support FaceTime calls using your iPhone's camera with the upcoming tvOS 17, due to release sometime this fall. The new FaceTime app for tvOS will let you initiate calls directly from your Apple TV, or start calls on your iPhone or iPad and then hand them off to the Apple TV. Additionally, there will be Split View for Apple TV, conferencing apps like WebEx by Cisco and Zoom, and Enhance Dialogue feature, which separates the dialogue from all the background noise.
