Mitch McConnell's Future in the Senate Remains Uncertain
Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell has been declared "medically clear" to continue working by the attending physician for the U.S. Capitol, Brian Monahan. McConnell's team acknowledged that his recent episodes of lightheadedness and freezing up could be attributed to lingering effects from a fall and concussion he suffered in March. Monahan stated that occasional lightheadedness is common in concussion recovery and can also be expected due to dehydration. President Joe Biden, who has personal experience with neurosurgeons, expressed confidence that McConnell will fully recover.
