Julie Chávez Rodriguez, granddaughter of labor leader César Chávez and current White House Intergovernmental Affairs director, will helm President Biden's reelection campaign. She previously worked on Biden's successful 2020 presidential campaign as deputy campaign manager, helping to court Latino voters. Chávez Rodriguez has also worked for the Obama administration and for then-Senator Kamala Harris before joining her presidential campaign. She credits her youth observing community organizing as a foundational experience.
