Russia has deployed the Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) for combat duty, according to the head of state space agency Roscosmos. The Sarmat, which Putin has described as "invincible," is a next-generation missile capable of carrying nuclear charges. Weighing over 200 tons and designed to elude anti-missile defense systems, it gives enemy surveillance systems a limited window to track it down. The Sarmat is part of Russia's next-generation missile arsenal, which also includes the Kinzhal and Avangard hypersonic missiles.

Russia has announced that its nuclear-capable Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missile system, also known as "Satan 2," has entered combat duty. The Sarmat missile is designed to evade anti-missile defense systems and can carry multiple warheads, with a range that can reach any target on Earth. It weighs over 200 tonnes and has been under development since 2009, with tests conducted since 2016. The missile is intended to replace the R-36M ICBM in Russia's arsenal.

The Patriot air defense system is already on combat duty in one sector of Ukraine's Air Force, according to Ukrainian Air Force Commander, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleschuk. The commander thanked the anti-aircraft gunners who completed the training much earlier than planned, as well as the partners and everyone who helped Ukraine receive air defense systems. To complete the puzzle of a promising Ukrainian air defense system, the Air Force needs the F-16.
