Plane engine catches fire due to bird strike and emergency landing made.
A bird strike caused an engine fire on an American Airlines flight shortly after takeoff from John Glenn Columbus International Airport in Ohio. The Boeing 737 returned safely to the airport with no injuries reported. The plane was taken out of service for maintenance and the FAA will investigate the incident.
