The National Weather Service predicts partly to mostly cloudy conditions in North and Central Texas for the total solar eclipse on April 8, with a medium chance for partly cloudy skies or better at 1 p.m. High clouds are expected to be almost certain, impacting visibility, and there's an increasing chance that dense low clouds will affect parts of Central Texas. Storm systems before and after the eclipse may also influence viewing conditions. While south-central Texas anticipates mostly cloudy skies, better visibility is expected in the northeastern part of Arkansas.
