"Mass General Brigham Hospitals Unify for Integrated Clinical Services"
Massachusetts General and Brigham and Women’s hospitals, part of Mass General Brigham, are integrating clinical services across their network to create disease-focused institutes and provide more coordinated care for over 2.6 million patients annually. The integration will merge 34 departments and is not expected to result in job cuts. The move aims to address staffing shortages, capacity challenges, and improve patient access to specialists across different specialties.
