Piedmont (0-2) has been omitted from the Alabama Sports Writers Association (ASWA) Class 3A high school football rankings for the first time in 167 consecutive polls. The Bulldogs fell out of the rankings following a 23-7 loss to Sylvania. Despite receiving 14 points, just one point shy of the 10th-ranked team, Ohatchee, Piedmont's streak, which began in 2008, has come to an end.
