
Southern Baptists' Gender Debate: Churches with Women Pastors Expelled.
The Southern Baptist Convention has expelled two congregations with women pastors and is considering an amendment to make churches' membership contingent upon prohibiting women pastors. While media coverage has focused on gender, an underlying conversation about sexuality has also shaped the church's opposition to women preaching.
