
Tragic Loss: Flames' Assistant GM Chris Snow Dies at 42
Chris Snow, assistant general manager of the Calgary Flames, has passed away at the age of 42 after suffering a "catastrophic brain injury" following cardiac arrest. Snow had been battling amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and had become an inspiration for many through his positive attitude and advocacy. The Flames expressed their condolences to Snow's family and praised his dedication and courage. Snow's wife, Kelsie, shared a heartfelt post about her husband's final act of donating his organs. Snow had joined the Flames organization in 2011 and was named assistant general manager in 2019.
