
"Zhaoxin's KX-7000 CPUs: High-Performance Eight-Core Processors for China"
Zhaoxin has unveiled its Kaixian KX-7000 series of x86 CPUs, featuring up to eight general-purpose cores running at 3.70 GHz. The new CPUs are based on the Century Avenue microarchitecture and offer improved CPU core design, out-of-order execution engines, and back-end execution units. They also include a new integrated GPU design with four times the performance of its predecessor. The CPUs utilize a chiplet architecture similar to AMD Ryzen processors and provide 24 PCIe 4.0 lanes, USB4 roots, USB 3.2 Gen2 roots, USB 2.0 roots, and SATA III ports. The KX-7000 processors will be available in both BGA and LGA packages and are expected to be used in client and embedded PCs in 2024.
