Measles Exposure Alert at Children's Museum During Solar Eclipse Viewing
Health officials warn that attendees of the solar eclipse event at The Children's Museum of Indianapolis on April 8th may have been exposed to measles by an infectious out-of-state visitor, with symptoms potentially appearing by April 22. Measles, highly contagious for the unvaccinated, presents with a rash, fever, cough, runny nose, and white spots in the mouth. Those without two doses of the measles vaccine are most at risk, and anyone suspected of having measles should contact a healthcare provider immediately.
